About Aequo Labs

The Name

Aequo comes from the Latin aequus — level, fair, equal. It's a nod to what we're trying to do: level the playing field so that a solo developer with a good product has the same go-to-market infrastructure as a company with a dedicated sales team.

The Founder

Aequo Labs started with a single developer trying to sell a licensed desktop application and finding that the entire path from finished code to paid customer was either gatekept by 30% app-store fees, locked behind monthly platform charges, or scattered across half a dozen unrelated tools.

Aequo Labs is the stack they built to skip all of that — and the stack they kept building once they realized the same gaps existed for every indie developer in the same spot.
